What dtect can and can't know

dtect reads the printed text in your photo and flags matches for the allergens you selected. Direct matches and “may contain” traces appear separately. Text recognition can miss or misread words, especially on blurry or curved labels. dtect can't see cross-contact that isn't printed on the label. Recipes change, so check the package each time. A result with no matches is not a certification, and it doesn't tell you whether you can eat a product. Always double-check the label yourself.
